Since I appreciate free and open source software I have started using Postbooks from xTuple for my own business.

The set up was a breeze, download the installer, run the installer, all set! I chose the quick start option that started me out with some lists populated briefly. The installation was a breeze on Ubuntu. xTuple now appears in my applications menu. From there you choose xTuple ERP to run the program. The top of the screen reads:
